I just think the line was released during the wrong time - sure, it was during the height of her popularity, but comparing the beauty world then to NOW is astounding. Just imagine how crazy the hype would have been in the YT/Makeup blogging/MU forum world if it was released during this time!

she should've marketed it to drugstores earlier on! i was a big fan of jessica simpson at that time (still am even though she's more of a fashionista now) and I went out of my way to go to the stores that sold the line. I think it was ulta at that time. eventually, her products made it to rite aid. I think, had she started at drugstore ealier it could've done better. but, yeah, timing was a big thing.
