This could be considered a game!
When you were a child ( or even now! ) did you call something similar to what it sounded like? As in, when I heard "platonic" I said "plabonic".
Also, remote control was mokie patrol!
To this day, I still say mokie patrol.
Do you have any past-time favorite goofy words?

Not really goofy I guess...but I always thought that "grilled cheese" was "girl cheese". I kept asking our preschool teacher why the boys got to eat them too if they were supposed to be for girls! haha

I grew up in the country, around all the big machinery and stuff.. and I thought the combines were called 'cowbines' and that they held cows... I was embarassingly old before I realized that they were just for harvesting crops, no cows involved.
And, Luigi (from mario bros), I used to call him Loogi.. like spit.. :/ Until one day when one of my cousins informed me of the correct pronunciation!

I was brought up speaking Spanish & instead of saying "Invierno" I would ALWAYS say "Infierno"
Basically, Instead of saying Winter, I would accidentally say Hell. O.O My parents would correct me SO fast - especially since I would always express my love for Winter when I was little & you could just imagine how awkward that would be. XD

Pasketti is my all time fave, I still can't seem to get it right. Or words with the 'Str' sound, it always comes out 'STW'. Example: "I just can't get enough of STWaberries!" cracks me up everytime :-)

My nephew switches his C's with T's so instead of Cat he with say Tat, or instead of Cookie he will say Tottie. I once spent an hour trying to find out what Tottie meant while he kept screaming " I want a tootie! lol He also says "Cheatsa" instead of " Pizza" lol so cute!
