Hello all. So I am going on vacation in a couple weeks, and I'm trying to figure out what products I can take with me, what I should take with me, etc. Any suggestions from those of you who travel often? What are some good products that come in a travel size? (moisturizer, hair products, etc) Thanks!

i'd just buy your own 3oz bottles and put your product in there. that's what i do! target usually has a nice selection of travel sized products though

If it is a long flight i would want to re hydrate my skin cause the flight does dry out even oily skin. I use clinique and it comes in travel size too! Dont forget hand sanitizer or anti bacterial wipes.
I like the idea of using your own product by making a 3 ounce kit !
You would want to place all your toiletries in a clear bag (as per regulation)

I take frequent long weekend trips with my husband. And since they are usually for 3-4 days, I don't check in my luggage. Which means, I've had to learn how to scale down when I'm deciding what beauty products to take. If you're flying...you really need to consider what you are taking since every cream, lotion or liquid needs to be in a 3oz (or smaller) container and can all fit into a quart size ziplock bag. For skin care I take my Philosophy Purity Made Simple and Hope In A Jar (both available in travel sizes, but you can always do what Megan suggested and pour your favorite products into 3 oz bottles). I pack a travel size package of makeup remover cloths (like Neutrogena). For cosmetics, I pack my Philosophy The Present Clear Makeup, a double ended concealer/highlighter (right now I'm using the one by ELF) and a tinted finishing powder, a blush, brow powder, liner, mascara and a lipgloss and lipstick. My hair care products really depend on the weather at my destination. Rainy or humid? That means my hair stays curly and I leave my flat iron at home. If that's the case, then I pour my shampoo into a smaller bottle (I use a tinted shampoo for red hair and it's not available in travel size) and take along hair conditioner, a small bottle of hair spray and my Organix Moroccan Argan Oil. This stuff I can take in my over-sized tote bag along with a smaller purse, sweater, water, snacks, phone, iPod and Kindle. Then my clothes go in a flight bag that is within regulations to carry on the plane. That way I have everything I need with me and don't have to worry about the airline losing my baggage on such a short trip. Have a happy vacation and travel safely and beautifully. :-)

I try to find travel size versions of my most used products! It makes life easier. I only bring enough makeup for one look (possibly two if I have eyeliner). I'm very minimalist, cause I know I won't use all my makeup, so I bring makeup that I use everyday.

most paul mitchell hair products come in travel size and they're amazing! other than that i would just get travel sized bottles and put whatever in them. they have lots of travel sized bottles at sallys. as for makeup i usually try to stick to palettes that aren't too big or bulky but have a lot of staple colors and then just foundation/powder/blush and two or three lip options

Thank you all! I think I may go with the travel sized bottles (if I can find them) because it seems like the easiest option =)
