I have strawberry blonde hair naturally, and I also have really light blonde fine hair on my legs. While this is great because I can get away with a longer time between shaves; I am having a problem with shaving, because my hair is so blonde I can't see it when I am shaving. I use shaving cream which kind of gives me a guide, but I still don't get it all (because my hair is so fine the razors do not really like to get it all) and it shows up when I dry off. Does anyone else have this problem, or know how to fix it (other than waxing)?

Other than what you said about the shaving cream as a guide I would suggest two things. One, maybe try using a different razor?? One with more blades maybe. I use Schick Quattro for Women, which I have found to give me the closest shave on my legs...(though I am not blonde!!). But I would also maybe suggest trying sugaring. Unless you don't like waxing because of the pain. Sugaring is obviously similar but I tried it recently for the first time and it is much more gentle than wax because it is not hot (so it will not burn your skin). Anyway, this is all I could think to try to help :).

What is sugaring? The reason I don't want to use wax is because I don't have the tools to do it with, and it seems more time consuming than shaving.

That's definitely true about waxing. Sugaring is something you go to get done, like waxing but it is a lot better. It is all natural and it does not need to be heated. It gets hairs that are super tiny, even barely there stubble. I would recommend just looking into it maybe. And over time your hair grows in less, like with waxing. But with waxing i notice its harder to get all the hair so i end up with really irritated skin from trying multiple times.

I did see a commercial for that once, and wondered. I cant stand the smell of that stuff OR the waiting before wiping it off. But i do want to try that out after you saying that. Im very interested...thanks for mentioning that!
