Pore size is relatively static.
There are a number of products that can reduce the appearance, with diffusers and such.. but an actual physical change won't happen.
Keeping them clean and clear, as well as staying away from products that accentuate texture (shimmer, glow, glitter) will help to not draw any extra attention.

While I've never tried actually shrinking the size of my pores (I have large pores on and around my nose), I can tell you applying a face primer before your foundation or concealer really helps to minimize the look of pores.

To help your skin, the best is to use a BHA (beta hydroxy acid) product. An example of a BHA is salicylic acid. BHAs penetrate your pores and clean them from the inside which may help to reduce their appearance. However, while some face washes have this ingredient, the limited contact with the skin does nothing to help. A lotion with the correct pH is a better choice.
I recently started using Neutrogena's Oil-Free Acne Stress Control 3-in-1 Hydrating Acne Treatment. I see a big difference so far in my pores as well as over all skin texture. (And it's inexpensive! yay!) Just remember to use a dime size drop!

I have two favorites!! I use the queen helene's mint julep mask ($4 from walgreens/cvs) around once a week and it literally helps instantly and also clears up blackheads. Then I use benefit's POREfessional primer on the problematic areas. It smooths out my face very nicely and is the best primer for reducing pore size that I have ever tried!

I had pretty large pores on my cheeks near my nose and blackheads on my nose and nothing would get rid of them. I couldn't take it anymore and got a Clarisonic. It didn't really do a whole lot of INSTANT change but after using it religiously for about a month I noticed a HUGE difference!! It really helps!! I would recommend it to you big time. My skin is very smooth and the pores got much smaller over time. It's a great buy.

I always had highly visible pores all over my cheeks, on my nose, chin, and my forehead. I tried a number of creams and lotions that claimed to reduce the appearance of them without any luck. I also tried a hand held manual brush that you can buy at sephora with no luck. Finally I was thinking of just breaking down and getting the Clarisonic, but instead I went with the Olay Pro-x and I have noticed a big improvement in the appearance of my pores. I am sure that the Clarisonic is better and I will invest in one eventually, but for now the olay does the trick for me.

Unfortunately there is nothing you can to do alter your pore size because it is partially genetic, however you can help with the appearance. Women with Large pores tend to have oily skin. What helps is making sure to always exfoliate your skin because any debris on the skin can get trapped in the pore causing it to expand. Exfoliate with an AHA(alpha hydroxy acid) or BHA(beta hydroxy acid). Murad has an exfoliant that includes both. Any scrub or exfoliator with Salicylic Acid also helps. You can also use clay masks, clay masks definetly help because they draw the oil and impurities out of the skin. Biolelements has an amazing clay mask you could check out
