Ok...so i got eye makeup down pretty good.
im clueless when it comes to face makeup =[
im trying to find a good powder and am stuck between MACs mineralize skinfinish natural and make up for evers dua mat powder.
my skin is clear for the most part a few blemishes every now and then. my skin can be sensitive at times. i can get a little oily but it can also get dry in some areas. not a fan of shimmer...i can handle a tiny barely noticable amount.
also in need of a blush.
i want to accomplish a more natural look thats quick and easy to do.
any suggestions???

If your looking for a face powder to just use on yourself, I wouldn't buy anything expensive. Its one of those types of products that most company's are good at so you don't need to haul out your wallet for. A few good drugstore ones that come to mind are Loreal and Palladio(I used that). OH and I have heard that E.L.F's HD powder is really good and really cheap.
As for blush, Maybellines Dream Mousse Blush is good for just that hint of color with a dewey finish. Also Hard candy has some good blushes if you use them as a highlighter instead of a blush.
I hope I helped ♥

MAC Mineralize Skinfinishes are lighter coverage than that of MUFE's Duo Matte powder foundation. MUFE is a higher coverage, and I really like the texture of mine, but you might not need that much coverage if you have clear skin for the most part. I do like it for my own skin though... so I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for high-coverage.
If you're looking into a setting powder, I love MUFE HD powder, but ELF's is a really good dupe. The difference is that the MUFE version has more slip to it.
As for blushes - I have two favorites: Tarte's Amazonian Clay blushes if you don't mind spending a little... and Physician's Formula's Happy Booster blushes [they remind me of MAC mineralized blushes.

I think it would be best to stick with drugstore products for now because they work just as great and very inexpensive. For powder I use Maybelline's Mineral Power powder and for blush I use Elf or physicians formula

The great thing about MAC MSF natural is that it is IMPOSSIBLE to get cakey. If you ave dry skin that doesn't need much oli control some great powders are Almay Line smoothing pressed powder, L'oreal Translucide, and CoverGirl TruBlend. MAC MSF is a great powder, but with products like powder that are easy to find at good prices and are used up so often you might want to go with a mass market brand.

Another reason why I dont go to drugstore products is because the majority of them test on animals. Ive tried the almay liquid foundation and blush and i liked them. I havent tried their powders though. Ive tried revlons liquid foundations and they made me super oily. Ive tried their powders and they made me look cakey. I havent tried physicians formulas powders yet...but i dont like their concealers.

at sephora or on bliss.com you can find the product called "No 'Zit' Sherlock" and they have a set that has a correcting serum, moisturizer, and a cleanser...this is the only product that I have finally found to be absolutely perfect for me..my brother also has very acne prone skin and this is the only thing that has cleared him up..there is not a scent...it is a really good product, i really recommend it....and if you are new to makeup maybe try the "Get Started Kit" by bareescentuals, it is $60 dollars but it teaches you what to do with the makeup on a dvd..it comes with a bunch of brushes, brush shampoo so you can clean the brushes, bronzer that is a really nice color for your cheeks, foundation and a setting powder....it may seem pricey but it is PERFECT for beginners :) let me know if you pick it...its all minerals so its not cakey

Try Milani products. They don't test on animals and are really good products for a drugstore brand. I own one of their face powders, but off the top of my head, I can't think of which one. Anyway, I really like it!!
