I attemtped the slytherin colors (see my profile) but the green isn't as dark as I wanted. I used the mac sharkskin grease stick and the mac eyeshadow swimming.
my question is next time should i use carbon under instead of sharkskin?

hmm i would go with sharkskin over the lid (not too much but enough to blend up) and then blend that towards the crease so it goes dark at the lashline to lighter at the crease. then use carbon in the crease. use a small brush right into the crease and then a fluffy brush to bring it a little above the crease (kind of a smokey effect). then you can pack on swimming on your lid. that should darken up the whole look but it'll take a bit of layering to get that really dark effect where you can still see the green :)
