I own Liquid and powder foundation as well as tinted moisturizers... and I like them all. But I tend to lean more towards my powder foundation. Which of the three would you say give a better finish for a flawless face.

I prefer a liquid foundation. It really depends on the product, though. Some have more coverage than others and formulas tend to work different on everyone. But, I always use a liquid foundation and then set it with a light powder.

It also depends on the coverage you're seeking...
Most tinted moisturizers are light coverage to help even out skin tone offers a dewey to semi-matte finish... not so great for super oily skin, but the rest is ok. Not the greatest lasting power since tinted moisturizer has such little coverage to start with,
Most liquid foundations are med. to full coverage which can mask a few blemishes and even out skin tone. They offer dewey to semi-matte to matte finishes, and are great for most skin types. Best lasting power out of the group, since many have formulations that set on the skin.
Powder foundations offer the MOST coverage, this includes mineral powder as well. This will mask almost any discoloration or blemish on your face. Not ideal for those with dry or combination skin, as it may cling onto dry patches if the skin is not exfoliated and prepped well. It offers a matte finish, but can be brought to a semi-matte or dewey finish with a spritz of fix+ or water. Lasting power is not as high, since it is easy to rub off on other surfaces.
I use both liquid and powder... but I much prefer liquid. Hope that helps! =)

Powder foundations offer more coverage than liquid? I'm sorry, but I have to disagree.
I've tried mineral foundation before; it didn't do anything for me at all. No coverage. I've gotten better coverage from tinted moisturizer.

I love liquid, for some reason i think that with powder foundation it almost always looks cakey! it also doesn't have nearly enough coverage in my opinion!

Powder Foundation for me, hands down!
Liquid makes my face feel heavy, haven't worn it in years!
There's also mousse foundations that a lot of my friends use, & they make skin look amazing!

definately prefer tinted moisturizer, elf has a good one for crazy cheap. when i wear liquid foundation it feels heavy on my skin, so i like how my skin feels so light with tinted moisturizer, it can breathe :) especially in the summer... i do set it with powder to make it last longer, and to matte it out

I think Mineral make up can offer full coverage and what not. Take for instance my Meow Cosmetics Fierce Feline foundation... That alone provides the same coverage I got when packing on the concealor and liquid foundation. The good thing is my skin can breathe more through MMU.
As for a compact powder, I think MAC Studio Fix and MUFE Duo Matte powder provides full coverage.
