Hi Kayla...have you tried aspirin? (if you're not allergic) You can smash up a small aspirin (like a baby one) and mix it with water and apply it to that pesky zit. It should help with redness and swelling. Good luck!

I have tried the aspirin trick myself. Works pretty well. I have also tried placing a dab of toothpaste on the pimple and it dries up pretty quick (I kept it on overnight). Try to find a toothpaste without fluoride (which is almost impossible). Otherwise expect a little stingy feeling in the first few minutes.

Thanks you guys i have toothpaste on it and it burn like crazy but i think its working

After you do that if you want to reduce the swelling I say put some ice on it. It will reduce the redness as well.

I agree with jasmine. A lot of time, pimples will look large & red because of a lot of blood flow going through the pimple. Ice will help reduce any swelling & will help the appearance of your zit naturally.

I wouldn't recommend the Asprin mask much (unless you know how your face reacts to Salicylic Acid) because all Salicylic Acid is, is an ingredient that brings up bacteria up to the surface. Which can cause white heads that can later form into full on pimples of not cleansed through properly.

I'd recommend a spot treatment with %2-3 Benzoyl Peroxide. Benzoyl Peroxide goes in & kills bacteria & cleans it out.
A good cheap %2.5 spot treatment is Neutrogena On-The-Spot Acne Treatment Cream which you can find ANYWHERE. Always use after a gentle foamed cleaning. :D
