Today I was wearing my clinque foundation and noticed that my face was getting really oily! I mean I do have oily skin but it was bad today! My clinque foundation usually works very well, but its not made for oily skin I suppose but anyways, I think my skin being more oily is due to me washing my face alot, which is something I have to do or i will get horrible break outs. Well, to solve this problem I went looking for a new foundation...I had to buy a drugstore one beaus of my budget but I got Revlon Color stay..have you guys ever used it and what do you think?

Climate can also affect your skin, as can diet, stress, other things.
Rather than changing your foundation, maybe you need to change your skincare routine?

Im excited to start using it. I want to use the clinque that Is left over first, im really weird of wasting things. any suggestions on that?

I've never tried the Revlon Colorstay foundation, but it sounds like a great one. I've wanted to try it for a while.
As for the Clinique one, add moisturizer to it and use as a tinted moisturizer, or wait until it's colder and use it then.

As far as drugstore foundations go, Revlon Colorstay is my favorite. They have a normal/dry skin and one for oily skin also. I've only tried the liquid formula though. I think I might try out the mousse one next time I go because I'm interested to see how it compares.

yea I got the one for oily combination skin! I might use it today if I go out, when I do I will tell you guys what I think about it :D thanks you everyone for the help!

I have used the revlon color stay foundation and the coverage is really high! When it says color stay... it means color stay. I put it on the back of my hand to get the product out and afterward the foundation stained my hands! I tried washing it off with water and it doesn't come off (so i KNOW its waterproof!) And i had to scrub it off with soap cause using a makeup wipe just didn't do it.

I love Revlon ColorStay. It is my HG foundation. After spending hundreds of dollars on every high end foundation and never being able to find the perfect one, I took others suggestions and tried Revlon ColorStay. Now I absolutely love it! It has amazing coverage and staying power!

I looooooove revlon colorstay. Its formula works really well for my oily skin . I highly recommend it as a good quality, inexpensive option. you can build up the desired coverage and it blends like a dream.

I want to try Revlon Colorstay so bad but I can not decide what would be my perfect match. I wear a NC25 in MACs Studio Fix Fluid and couldn't find a shade similar to that one. :(

I love this foundation....it does feel heavy on the skin, but its my HG foundation right now. Stays put and makes my skin look great. My skin is oily and acne prone.

I like the wear, but I find it a bit heavy in the summer heat.
If you want to use up your other foundation, definitely look at your cleansing routine. If your face is getting more oily from too much cleansing, try a milder cleanser or less exfoliation. You definitely want to keep it clean, but over doing it can really stress out your skin and make you even more prone to breakouts.

It has such an amazing coverage! I never use concealer with it because it feel it covers enough of my acne scars, but still lets me shine through! Be careful when applying it though it is really runny and hard to control because it doesn't have a pump or anything. I learned that lesson the hard way :)

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE the Revlon Colorstay! It is amazing, price-friendly, very accessible and I used the combo./oily one which helps my foundation stay matte all day! If I were you I would definitely try it!
