So i am not the girl who can afford the REALLY expensive makeup, (even though i am saving for a couple of things) i am 17 so i am going through that make up phase.
i thought it would be a waste of money to get eye shadows, and lipsticks individually,
I came across the website bhcosmetics.com and i definitely recommend buying makeup here for girls who are on a budget. they don't really sell a lot of products but from the products that i have purchased from this website i love and use all the time,
Please check out Bhcosmetics.com , and let me know what you think

Their stuff is over-priced! They buy from wholesale & mark it up like 150%!! You could find the same stuff on Ebay for so much cheaper. ^_^

wow really, i don't know sometimes i don't trust Ebay, but i wish i could afford all that good makeup, I'm going to have to start saving a whole lot :(

Just as long as they're good sellers, you'd be fine - most sellers who sell the cheapest palletes have over 99% good feedback & like over 1k feedback marks. I trust it. ^_^ I've had nooo problems.

Melissa I know how it is honey. Im seventeen too! What you could try is NYX cosmetics! They're really cheap, $5 dollars for a lot of the eyeshadows, which are sometimes better than MAC and some are actually dupes for mac eyeshadows! It's my favourite brand!
I actually really like BH for certain products and availability. Certain items that could buy both at Ebay as well as BH cosmetics are only going to be for sure, positively available at BH. Plus, I'd rather spend a few extra dollars on BH because I know my package will arrive safely and not broken like a lot of my purchases from ebay have.

aww, i would try NYX products! and yeah i feel the same way about BH i dont think i would ever buy at Ebay i really don't trust it.

When I first got into makeup I ordered my first palette from ebay from a "trusted" user and when it got to my house I was pissed. An entire row was cracked in some way. Ever since I only from BH!!

Melissa: you don't have to worry about "fake" BH cosmetics or Coastal Scents palettes on Ebay... they're all made by the same Chinese manufacturers with some other brand's name stamped on it. As much as I am all for affordable makeup, I find the quality of the multi-color palettes like those of the 88 palettes or neutral palettes to be of poor quality. You're much better off buying the 100 palette from ELF during a 50% off coupon code event. Same quality, you get more shadows - hope that helps!
I def. recommend NYX too...
I know going through the makeup phase, you want to have just as much as others so you can start playing and learning w/o limitation of not having a particular color, but remember: QUALITY > QUANTITY. =)

Thanks alot Soma, yeah i really want to have a good collection so that i can play around with it more, and thanks i will look into ELF too.

I recommend elf, wet n wild and nyx :) I'm 18 but started when I was 16/17 so I don't have high end products! (besides the naked palette + mac paint pots)

elf and wet n wild have really stepped their game up. i'd go with them first over anyone else :)

i bought the master kit from elf and i really loved it. Their studio line is really good. sign up for their emails cause sometimes they do 50% off. I got 53 items for 86 dollars. So its worth the wait=) BHcosmetics are good i just got 2 eye shadow palettes from them and i love them. u just have to wait for deals thats your best bet. Nyx is awesome too! im a 21 yr old cosmetology student that lost her job a couple months ago so ive been trying to budget how much i spend and how often i get things for my kit.

You can get the expensive stuff for less at allwholesalecosmetics.com... I've purchased a few things from that site and have been pretty pleased. Just make sure you do a color swatch in a store first because the images don't always match the actual color!
PS. I think you're smart to not buy makeup from Ebay... I'm sure there's some legit sellers out there but unfortunately it's just too hard to trust that the products are real and haven't been tampered with.

yeah, i dont think i will ever buy from ebay, and the stuff people sell are sometimes used, like who wants used products?

I would say EBAY too..That is where I go and don't give in to buying unlimited items there because its just a scam. 99% rating!!!! 100% even better

@Melissa: I think you made some good choices from NYX! Their Mega Shine Lipglosses are supposed to be quite good, as are their cream blushes.
And I wouldn't count eBay out completely, for one simple reason: better access to UK drugstore brands. I'm mainly thinking of Sleek (available there at Superdrug).
While Sleek has its own website, and they will ship to the US, the shipping cost is quite high ($13.50). I've found eBay sellers who sell their products that charge much less for shipping (around £3 or £4, I think?). Their standout products are their eyeshadow palettes (I have one of them (Bad Girl); insanely pigmented!) and their blushes (I think their Rose Gold blush is supposed to be an excellent dupe for NARS Orgasm).
(The seller I bought my palette from is vanitypalace; she's very quick to ship, good communication, she charges just £2.20 or so for shipping. Her feedback rating is 99.7%.)

@ Shelly: yeah i bought at sleek.com once to get the storm i divine palette but it litterally took like a month to get to me, i was mad, i should have bought more stuff at the time but i could not waste much and you are right the shipping cost was quite high. I really want the pout polish, i want to give them a try, but thanks about letting me know about the seller on Ebay <3
