ALL the opi shatters are Garbage to me. They are collecting dust. Especially sence I invested in the Konad line

Ooh, here's another one: MUFE #92. It's a beautiful purple color, but I do not like the texture of it. I find it really hard to blend on my skin, and it applies chalky and patchy. You're better off with Sugarpill's Poison Plum, and Sugarpill is a whole lot cheaper!

What an amazing topic! I read every single reply, thank you so much. <3 Just to add my two cents: I purchased the Clinique 3-Step Skincare System and was very disappointed. The products worked fine; if anything they were great -- the thing is that I had purchased it to clear up my acne and it did absolutely nothing for that. The lady in the store helped me pick the right one out for my skin type and assured me that my acne was not bad enough for the Acne Solutions line, and that the regular Type 3 would clear up my acne well. Yeah. It didn't. :/

Benefit's Bad Gal Mascara....did absolutely NOTHING for my lashes. I was better off not wearing any mascara at all! Biggest waste!!

e.l.f. Studio Blushes... I tried SO HARD to like them! They were only $3! But... even with that low price tag I didn't find them worth it... They were hard, but then got everywhere when I tried to use them because I reeeeeally had to get my brush in there...  :[

For me it's Urban Decay's 24/7 Eyeliner in zero. It does NOT stay on all day...on the upper lash line totally fades and if I apply it along the waterline, FORGET IT! Smudges and smears so easily I was so disappointed!

OMG I agree with the 24/7 liner in Zero! Everyone says its the best for the waterline but in my opinion it is pointless. It doesn't even go on dark, just watered down looking. Stila pencils are a trillion times better for that!

@Soma - Thank you for clearing that up! I think I will go with the ELF instead! :)

I despise Covergirl Lashblast! It does absolutely nothing for me. Also ELF Blushes... I'll still use them sometimes (since I have 'em and might as well... grumble...) but the texture is terrible and makes applying/blending them a chore.

Haha... I know CS brushes are Crown brushes... I had the Italian Badger brush and their pink kabuki - smelled AWFUL! I even watched the videos on how to deodorize them with fabric softener and all it did was just mix the unpleasant scent of wet animal with perfume. The did the job, but still too scratchy for my liking.

Erica - if you're starting out, then ELF studio brushes are a good start, and best bang for your buck if you wait for a sale. They're not brushes that will last you a lifetime, but they are a good stepping stone to find what you want and don't want in a brush. Once you learn to differentiate the differences, then it's good to invest in ones that will last you years and years. I try to recommend investing in just a small hand full of select brush types to save $ most of the time, but if you're intent on learning a brush's function to find the right tools for you VS. what is regularly suggested, it's a good way to go.  =)

Oh, haha I meant the ELF 100 pallet over the BH Cosmetics/Coastal Scents :)

Coastal Scents 88 pallets, I couldn't get them to work for me so I gave them to a friend, they work for her.

MAC Ripe Peach Ombre, I paid over retail for it after all the hype and it being sold out, and all it does is sit in my vanity, I hate it!

UDPP I much prefer the smashbox primer, but this is the only one I have right now so it's what I'm using.

Doh! Got mixed up... This thread has grown quickly.  =P

Ive actually grown tired of the shatter's by OPI as well. I dont know they just seem to only be ok when I am in the mood for them, but lately I just feel like they ruin the perfectly good manicure I had on before I put the shatter on.

Hated the Urban Decay's 24/7 Eyeliner too. I actually find the NYX Slide On eyeliner to be sooooo much better.

Good to know about the 24/7 liners!
I just got my order in from CS today, and as soon as I opened up my 88 warm palette I was a little shocked. I knew the shadows were small, but holy jeez, they're minuscule! As well as the brushes, most of them looked a lot bigger online. I should have checked a ruler when I read the brush sizes! You can't be too careful!

Mandy the Milani pencils work way better than the UD one!

They're Real! mascara from Benefit. Doesn't do bull which makes me quite sad, haha. I think the formula is too wet, combined with a silicone brush that just doesn't fit me :)
