Hey :)
I need some help! I'm looking for a powder from the drugstore for really oily skin that will help keep my skin matte for longer than a couple of hours! Has anyone got any recommendations? Or any tips for keeping matte throughout the day??
Thanks! x

I don't have really oily skin but my t-zone does get quite oily if I don't use powder. I use Rimmel's Stay Matte powder and it works amazingly for me :) Maybe you should look into some oil blotting sheets to carry in your purse?

Ok thanks :) Yeah, blotting sheets sound a good idea, I've always just been worried that they'll wipe off my makeup!

I agree with Gracey, I use Stay Matte too and its wonderful :) and as far as blotting sheets go, try ELF's and if you don't like them, who cares? They were a dollar. :) Good luck, I know the pain

I've used Maybelline's Matte one (don't recall the full name of it), and Rimmel's Stay Matte. I really liked Rimmel's... although I had to really blend it out, or it would start to cake on.
What did you beauties use (Gracey/Kirbie) to apply? I used those triangle sponges. =|
I get very oily! I would have to reapply every other hour or so.

I've tried the Neutrogena blotting papers before and they I didn't notice any makeup smudging.
@Jane- For my foundation I use a MAC 187 but for my Stay Matte powder I just use my elf kabuki brush

Oh and if your powder gets too cakey you could try applying it with a sponge or a puff and then buffing it out with a powder brush

The Rommel stay matte is actually pretty good, to be honest my dad uses it too now, and he has REALLY oily skin, it works on him. a plus is also it doesn't make you looks ghostly white.

Maybelline's Dream Matte Powder is fantastic. but ELF's High Definition Powder will forever be my #1 pick.
