probably Crown and Sonia Kashuk... the individual Sonia Kashuk ones, though, as I've had trouble with the set ones. e.l.f. has some nice ones for cheap as well.

ELF studio brushes and PMS (yes. I know! haha. It stands for Professional Makeup Supplies) brushes, Stila brushes and Utowa brushes.
The MAC brushes are... well, they're nice, but they're far too expensive and they use animal hair >___< So deff not going there.

@Shelly - you'll love the quality of Louise Young and Hakuhodo! Everything I own from them is feather soft! I highly suggest the LY38 and 38a if you are looking for blending brushes like MAC's 226 or smaller. Hakuhodo's s100 series is soft as well, but I recommend it only for personal use only. If you're a professional, I suggest you try their black handled brushes since they look better suited for pro situations.

@Soma: I'm not a pro, but I am an enthusiast (and a slight brush fiend ;)). The LY38 is on my radar, definitely. And you may remember I have one of the 200 series brushes from Hakuhodo (MAC 138 dupe) in my sights, too. :)

I really like my Sigma brushes. Especially the Sigmax collection. Which I can't wait to try out the recent release of Sigmax brushes.

I am currently waiting for my first package from Sigma, so I am really exited and I think they are going to reach my top list! But my favorites right now, are my OCC brushes, Ecotools, Elf studio line, and my eye brushes from crown. I threw all my face brushed from crown away because they were useless. They had black bristles, and they actually transferred black color to my face.. Not a pretty look. I tried washing them several times, but it only made it worse.

I love MAC followed by Bobbi Brown and sometimes I dip into my husband's art brushes when my sets are being cleaned.
