Has anyone tried any eyeshadow pallets from Sephora? It all looks so pretty but I haven't heard good reviews on it, so before spending I was wondering how other people feel about it? I usually buy MAC and UD from Sephora stores, but never tried their own product...

I've had more misses with Sephora eyeshadows in general so I haven't attempted to get a pallet from them. I recently picked up a pallet from Lorac and I've been super happy with it. No fallout to speak of and the colors do not fade even after 8 hours of wear. Hope this helps.

I got one of those round domed 3 colors in one eyeshadows the other day, thinking I could use it for a soft smokey look (it was dark purple, pale purple and like a lightish blue). I did and it worked wonderfully. I made sure to use enough primer and applied it with a generous hand, and it stayed on well through the day. Now it's hard to use because, like I said, it's three colors in that one dome, so you have to really be precise about where you're picking up color, but with a sharpish brush (I used a pencil brush) it works just fine. Not much fall out, either. :) For the price, I was pleased, and it'd be a good product to use for everyday.

The ones I've tried we're chalky... I'd rather spend on drug store or indie brands with better quality for their prices.

If I'm not mistaken, they've recently changed the formulations. Anyway, like I said, I was pleased. *shrug* I'd suggest go into a Sephora and play a bit, see what you think in person.

Thank you everyone. After reading your comments I'm definitely not buying Sephora eyeshadows. I once bought their eyeliner brush and wasn't satisfied with it...Lorac I used before and I love it. I have their primer and one eyeshadow palette right now.
