Which is better...blogspot or wordpress? I currently have a blogspot blog, but I've been considering changing over to wordpress. Can anyone give me some pros and cons. Also, is there away to transfer my blogspot blogs without a big hassle?

I did not like wordpress I felt it was quite clunky and did not offer a friendly user interface. I changed over to blogspt and was not able to save... I am sure there is a way but I am not that savvy. I was able to set up pages and designs so much more easily than in wordpress. Good luck!

I tried wordpress - and as much as I liked the idea of it being easier to customize, the user interface completely turned me off of it. I usually can pick up programs or new interfaces easily, but this is nowhere NEAR intuitive. You really have to take the time to sit down and learn each tiny function at your fingertips, and it bothers me that you have to pay for a quality layout if you are not CSS savvy. Blogger is def. a beginner's tool and easier to figure out, but checking comments on older posts or expanding your blog to have links to a main site w/ subtopics can get complicated if you don't know what you're doing.
I signed up for wordpress for a few days, tried to tinker a bit with it... but hated how it wasn't user friendly at all, and left it alone. =(
Doesn't hurt to open an account and try it out for yourself though! =D
