I found it to be OK...I prefer NARS tinted moisturizer. But my skin is oily, so that could have made the difference.

Using a primer will help with oil control and finishing it with the Halo powder. The BB Cream is lightweight and a good middle of the road between a tinted moisturizer and a full foundation. Smashbox will be launching a CC cream which is for color correction by April and I have tested it and like it better than the BB Cream. ;)

I felt like the Smahbox BB cream was clogging my pores and breaking me out. I switched to Dr Jart BB cream in the Premium and its been great with no breakouts

I have combo skin and have tried many Asian and American bb creams. Smash box is my current favorite. Dr. Jardt broke me out, skin79 pink label was too fair, skin79 orange label has a gorgeous texture, but it has really strong pink undertones, missha bb creams broke me out, but my friends with dryer skin have no issues, and the tarts bb cream/tinted moisturizer thing broke me out as well. The smash box is a light-medium coverage, doesn't provide a lot of moisture, it's thick feeling and easy to blend and it doesn't break me out.

I think it feels too heavy. I prefer too faced. Go to sephora and try diff ones on your hand so you can tell what they feel like before you buy.
