Maybe you should use a setting spray, to keep it all in place when you are done with your make up.

hello. A little bit of hair spray will do the job.... literally spray it in the air and walk through it. OR go and get a sample of Estee Lauder double wear foundation, it's water resistant, heat resistant! an amazing product! OR use a good primer under the foundation I have recently got one from NO 7 it comes in a white tube and is £10.00. Good luck x

I do indeed think it's lack of primer.
I have the UD primer, the Complexion yada yada Pore Perfecting.
I like it.

I have the same problem with my oily skin, and I found that a combo of Makeup Forever's Mat Velvet foundation and TooFaced's Primed and Poreless primer really does the trick of keeping me perfectly matte all day and my makeup never wears off.

Hair spray won't do the job, it's really bad to spray hairspray on to your face to set your makeup. You can buy special sprays that will set your make up. E.L.F sell one and it's not expensive. I guess you could try to buy non transferable foundation, I use non transferable and it lasts all day but I don't have acne or anything so I don't know whether it would work for you or not. :)

Ugh I've seen other MUA's use hair spray but if you have acne prone skin like you said, that's a bad idea. Fix+ and UD's All nighter setting spray is good. Also, the MSF natural may be too light for the coverage you want. Try a powder foundation for better, more long lasting results.

Fix+ doesn't prolong your makeup... But the UD all-nighter spray works really well. I would suggest MUFE HD primer + any of their foundations... (HD or matte velvet)

I use the above products, and I last easily 8 hours without it migrating. Hope that helps, and good luck!

I don't know if this will be any help, but I set my makeup twice. After foundation and concealer I use a skin colored powder, and after everything is done I use a translucent powder. I've noticed my makeup lasts significantly longer. And like the other ladies have said primer helps a lot.

UD All Nighter is friggin life saving. Depending on how I feel, I will put it on before and/or after all of my liquid and powder makeup (before mascara, that got real messy once!) and it makes my face looks amazing forever. I'll even use it in place of water on a sponge to blend out my makeup.

Primer is also way important. Rimmel makes a good one (but I like the one that isn't the "professional" version or whatever, just the original), and MAC Prep + Prime is fabulous as well.

it could be a number of things. keep your mind open & test out a few products to see what your skin is most comfortable with. try not to use anything too harsh either. are you moisturizing your face? apply a face primer/base? using a setting spray? the condition also matters too. i'm a waitress, i have oily skin, i use a few foundations depending on what i grab some days. after a few hours, my face can look like a grease pan at the end of the shift. some days i'll forget to use a primer, i'll forget to moisturize, etc. my point in all of this is to tell you to continue doing what you do, experiment with other products that are targeted for setting makeup and see what happens. if anything carry some blotting sheets with you and touch up throughout the day.

I think your skin is dehydrated. Oily skin and moisturized skin is different. You can have oily, dehydrated skin as well. How about trying product that can give your face more moist? Anything that contains no perfume nor color, so that your skin won't be irritated.

And after moisturizing your face, you should wait for a few minutes to let all lotion absorbs before applying any make up. Hope this helps!

I know for myself Ive had a lot of trouble in the past with foundation either transferring or wearing away. It could be a number of different factors but I reccommend using products targeted towards your skin type. If you are using a primer or moisturizer(pick one instead of using both. the more layers you have the more the foundation will slide around) after you've applied and allowed it to soak in a bit blot it with a tissue to absorb any extra moisture and then apply your foundation and repeat this step before setting your face. Also try loading up a powder puff with either translucent or powder foundation(depending on the coverage you're looking for) and pat it on to areas where you get the most oily. It should look powdery! Then you go back in with a big powder brush and gently whisk away the excess powder. Your face will look flawless and the makeup should stay put for at least 8 hours!

Lack of primer for sure! Primer is an essential for anybody! And, personally, I like to apply my face primer and let it set on my face for a bit just so it can set in. Because I find when i put it on then started putting on my foundation I'm just moving around the primer as well! But letting it set keeps it locked! (:

Using a Primer or good moisturizer for you skin type can help but if you are going out for something special and you want your makeup to stay Try the Ben nye setting spray, odly it smells like mint? but it works really well just Take it a clean sponge and apply it lightly! Also how often do you clean your Brushes? the oil from your brushes can cause makeup not to stay on, becuase the oils from applying and sitting on the brush gaining more and more bacteria and your placing that back on your skin , your transferring oils. well, i hope this helps !
