I hate that last month had skin care items in it and in this months has the same exact skin items just diff scents (I was gonna say flavors) lol. Anyways, the only makeup item was the glitter eyeshadow or body glitter whatever. I was happy with my first two bags but this bag rhyme not so much. How are u guys feeling?

I haven't gotten mine yet (it got mis-routed to a different state or something...ugh) but I agree. I prefer more makeup products and I'm pretty sure I'll be canceling my subscription before next month. I don't wear glitter anything, so I won't even use the glitter eye thing I'm sure. I'm tired of all the skincare products because I'm happy with what I use, and switching up skincare so much isn't a good idea (not to mention those freeman masks aren't good for your skin b/c of the alcohol content). The reason I unsubscribed from Birchbox was all the skincare stuff. I also liked last month's Glam bag as well and December's looked great...which is why I'm not sure if I want to stick it out another month.
Oddly enough, the only thing I may actually make use of is the NuMe gift card because I've been looking for a good curling wand...of course, I'm still paying $67 dollars for it, but at least its something I want and will use haha. I might use the shine control stuff since I get oily on my forehead a lot, but I'm not thrilled about it or anything.

I am but I'm not cancelling my subscription just yet. My daughter is because she can only afford one subscription and right now she has Beauty Army (which I signed her up for and paid for) and MyGlam. She had Birchbox but cancelled that for MyGlam but didn't sign up in time for January. Feb will be her first and last month with them. She went back to Birchbox when she heard the March box will be a team up with Teen Vogue.
BTW - the total bag value is under $9.
NYX - $4.50
Shine Control by X Out - $0, it's a freebie with the purchase of another X Out product.
Cinderella Mask by Dead Sea Premier - $0, another freebie sample size from Dea Sea Premier.
Pineapple OR Goji Berry Facial Mask Sachets by Freeman - $1.99 (though as little as 25 cents at Walmart if you find the sachets with the $1 off coupon on it)
Dead Sea Premier Other Products - $0, all freebie sachet samples.
I don't get why Dead Sea Premier has listed on their samples page the tubes and sachets (for free) yet MyGlam is only sending out the sachets. Kind of cheap on Dead Sea Premier's part. Like I'm going to use a free one-time-use sample then go spend $150 to $500 on one of their products. No thanks. If I was going to drop that kind of cash on skincare products it would be with SK-II.
Granted it comes with a $100 promo code (I don't consider it a gift certificate anymore than I do Spalook.com's card that come in my Test Tubes). Anything you end up spending $ out of pocket or has restrictions is NOT a gift card. I thought it was against the law for companies to call those kinds of promo cards/coupon cards as gift cards. I know Sephora does it as well with their VIB cards but you can use it on less than $50 online but in stores you do have to spend $50.

I haven't even been emailed a tracking number for mine but I have seen the pics of other ppls bags and I'm disappointed. I don't really ever wear glitter and I probably wont use any of the skincare products because I'm so sensitive. I think I'll give it a few more months but this was a let down.

I'm upset at the fact that they state how they are shipping east coast first. I live on the east coast and people have already started getting their bags or tracking number. I have not gotten a tracking number. I subscribed in January so I should be getting february, Everytime I message them its like I get the same answer "we ship on the 10th..." and blah, blah, blah. Its like you email them but they can't solve the problem of why you are emailing them. They mislead you with the whole over $50 value with what Yasmin said. I understand skin care is part of beauty. But, I thought they were aiming towards makeup. They are promoting Valentines day, when the only thing Valentine day related was the bag. I'm just highly upset, I'm glad I only paid for one bag and then unsubscribed.

I know guys and what I hate the most is when ppl say "well its only $10 you can unsubcribe if u want". I wish that they did have more makeup stuff in it. I dnt like to get skin care bc my skin is soooooooo super sensitive I'll break out. I guess with myglam we'll get some hits and Misses. I just hope this will be its last miss. I feel like they really dnt listen to what we have suggested and they'll lose a lot of subbies. Idk Imma give them a few more months. I just hope its not a waste of money down the road.

The posts that bug me are those who post we should be grateful or that they're grateful. Grateful for what?! MyGlam is a company just like Birchbox, Sephora, Ulta and Target. Should I be grateful to Target when they have something on sale and I order it and it arrives? No. Should I be grateful if Ulta has a free item with purchase? No!
I don't mind that there's not more makeup in it but I wish there were more higher end brands like you see in Birchbox, Beauty Army and Test Tube. Like I said, I'm sticking with them a few more months. I usually give companies a three month deal and if at the end of three months I'm still not happy I quit but since MyGlam seems to have growing pains I'm willing to give them another three months. The only company I never gave a three month chance to was GoGo Girlfriend, I bailed after one box just because I couldn't get over the dollar store vibe with them.

Eh! I am so NOT impressed.
December's was AWESOME (I didn't get it, but I wanted it SO badly)!
January's looked good too!
But February's.... not so much.
THREE skin care products. Really?!?!
MyGlam, we want makeup! Is that too much to ask for!?
Here is my blog post about my first impression about the bag!
Make sure you check it out and subbbb! :)
