This is the first time I heard the rumor, I will have to check it out with my coworkers. I haven't heard of any of these rumors lol

I haven't heard that, but I would be really interested to see that from them! Their mattes and a little iffy for me. Some of them are nice, some of them not so much. The matte black in the naked2 palette is such a disappointment. But I would interested to see what they would come up with, it would be so different for them

I didn't like blackout... The name shouldn't even have the word "black" in it, in my opinion, just because it is sooo grey!
UD mattes aren't my favorite, but not bad if I have time to sit there and blend more than I usually would. I would def. be interested in an all matte version though, just because I loved the other matte colors. Now if only they would make these gorgeous mattes more smooth, then I'll be running to the head of the line to snag one!

@Soma @Nichole Just to chime in about black shadows, I hear that the black in Nars Pandora duo is the absolute best matte black that doesn't gray out. I also really like Sugarpill's Bulletproof for black.

Thing is, the quality definitely isn't the same in all of these NAKED2 palettes, ha. I swatched a few in store and the quality was so, so different in every single palette.
But I definitely wouldn't mind seeing an all matte palette. I heard the rumour as well. Sure would be nice if it was true. If it is, there's a chance I'd purchase it.

Would definitely like to see an all matte version. Don't think NAKED 2 is different enough to the first one for me to purchase! I was so excited to get it until I saw it and decided it wasn't worth it... I expected way more matte in this one! Overall I really love UD makeup tho :)

@Freddie, that is really interesting. I have been thinking about buying Naked 2, but hearing that, makes me wonder. For the company and the price, I expect consistancy at least within a particular product. I am not crossing off just yet, but will just weigh my options more. Thanks for the info.

I've been hearing that rumor floating around (mostly from fans on their FB page) since the first naked palette came out. It's definitely something UD fans want. I have some of their matte singles and love them. But I haven't seen UD come out and announce anything, and I doubt they would release another neutral palette so soon after Naked 2. Maybe with lots of begging we can get one for Holiday 2012.

My only complaint with the new Naked Palette is the packaging. I hate this whole, tin-can thing they have going with the Mariposa and Naked 2 palettes. The original Naked Palette had such nice, soft and workable packaging. This new case really bugs me, but the colors are nice.
I'm kind of an UD junkie, so even though I really didn't need the palette, I just couldn't resist =D

I would absolutely love it if this was true. I was just looking on the UD site today and they have almost no matte shadows. One is on clearance with leaves them with 2 current colors.
So if this is all in preparation for a big release that's awesome. If not, then it's just a disappointment. UD seems to get rid of the products of their that I tend to like.

I really hope this is true! I'd be so interested in the matte shades UD comes out with. I bought one matte e/s from UD a while ago during their sale, it was called Heist - and that matte e/s is buttery sofffft.

@ Mrs. N. As far as UD products I liked that were discontinued: cream shadows, 24/7 glide on pencil sets (now on clearance), liquid eyeliners (in the bottle, not the pens) and their matte shadows. I managed to get a lot of these products at closeout, but it's a little depressing to know that when they're gone, they're gone.

Ohhh, wish the rumours were true though knowing my luck they aren't! I have both palettes and would say that the only negatives are that they should include more mattes. The blackout is amazing, but it really isnt the darkest black I've tried.. Sleek matte black is THE best one I have tried so far!

a very reliable source told me that yes, this kind of palette is in the works for a 2013 release but that many changes can still happen along the way. but yes UD is listening - they know we want a matte neutral palette and we will definitely be getting SOMETHING like it :)

I agree with Jasmine P as far as NARS Pandora being the best black. It is super duper black and definitely doesn't gray out. Plus who doesn't need a nice white to pair with it (both Matte). I don't have an opinion on an all matte version of the UD Naked Palette. haven't heard rumors and I rarely buy palettes of course i did buy UD Vice Palette...i enjoy it, i think i use it a lot because it's new...the matte's in there are pretty nice...just sayin

I agree with you, NOIR, about UD releasing both Nakeds at once so you could choose.. My Naked1 palette is alright, but I would have much preferred the second had I a chance. Cool colors just look better on me.
