I've never been one to use red lipstick because I feel it just doesn't look good on me. I have green eyes and my skin tone is a little on the tan side. Any recommendations? I'd just like to try something new.

You have gorgeous eyes! Though I'm sure you get that often.
I think you can definitely play with red colors--I would suggest doing something like a pinky red or ones with blue undertones like a raspberry red. I definitely think you can pull off a warm red as well--but I think that might be trickier to pull of with your skin tone. I would play with different warm shades for sure!

Try playing with a coral red (which I think would look gorgeous on you!), deep burgundy (in the right shade, can really play into your skin tone well), or even like a mauve-y red. I would love to see what you come up with! Play and keep us posted :-)

I really like the Maybelline color sensational one in red revival. It's a deeper color which I think would suit your skin nicely and I also have to say your eyes really are stunning =]]

I agree with amelia, maybelline have some great lipsticks in different colors, maybe you should try a red lip stick with an blue undertone in it....
Otherwise try some of the new lip sticks from nyx cosmetics (the matte ones), you migth find a great one there too. Good luck ;)

@Linda--I have a review video of the Maybelline's Color Sensational in Red Revival (one of my faves!) if you want to get an idea of the color. The girls are right, you would look great in it! (My main photo is also with red revival but it has a lot of yellow tint to it so color is not accurate).

green always goes fantastic with red!! you got it made in the shade with them eyes of yours there miss, my eyes are dumb, they change from green to blue, blue if im not wearing any eye makeup, and green if i am. but i like pink or a pink red for green? maybe thats just me, but ill wear a hot ass pink lip with nothing else. lol get a couple red colors of all shades, and just play with them, take that camara that loves you so much and snap away and find one till your happy! :)
