nope, not for me. I thought that applying foundation was easy and that i'll get good coverage and a flawless finish, but when i tried it, it got cakey and flaky. However I think practice will do the job.

i dont do colored looks like you (a little scared to haha) but i like to spice up neutral looks with toned down colors (not a bright purple, but a soft plum or something)- if i end up not being a huge fan, i'll just keep adding shadow until i get it to a state where i like it

by the way, i saw your pictures on here and you do gorgeous work!

Hahaha, not really, no. Oh the joys of having hooded eyelids and eyes in two completely different spots that are completely uneven, wh00t.

mine never do... same problem as freddie b!

Mine usually do if I stick to what works best for my eye. I will say that smokey eyes were one of the hardest visions to create lol but with practice i did it!

For me my eye makeup turns out very good on the first eye and sometimes even better than I imagined it. When I get to the second eye, it turns out horrible, messed up, and it is not even at all. How do I get my eye makeup to match each other and be the same??

I find it rather hard to plan looks in advance because I end up wearing what I feel lie wearing. ("Today feels like a purple day" type of thing) If I'm trying a new look, it never turns out how I imagine, for better or for worse.

@Tommi R. : I heard a phrase "They are supposed to sisters, not twins." I have eyes that don't open the same way so I usually have to adjust the eyeshadow placement for each eye to get them to look similar.

I never really have a plan, I just pick a few colours that I like and go with it xD

I always have a vision of a look, but when i sit there in front of the mirrow and start applying make up...it usually goes with the flow!
Because if i really have time, i play around with colors, and see what migth look good. But if i am going to work and school and the time is limited, i always have a regular look i always go with! ;)

Almost never! I often follow my impulses as I go, hehe :)

Nope. I might have an idea of what I want to do but most of the time it ends up being something completely different or, at best, a close approximation. Then again, my skills are mostly hit and miss. Oops.

I usually have an idea of what kind of look or colors I want to do/use... but I don't necessarily plan out my looks. lol. If I do, I find that it doesn't turn out the way I want (Unless it's a look I've done countless times before) because I always add stuff and change it after I've started lol

they never turn out exactly like what I envision but you learn and sometimes they come out better :)

5% of the time, I make a mess if everything and have to take everything off or it comes out like I had envisioned it. The 95% if the time it comes out better than I could have ever imagined. Mind you, I sort of cheat and practice looks the night before, trust me when I say when I started playing with make up, I would have to clean up 95% of the time, so practice helps :)

Not always but sometimes they come out better than i thought.
Honestly im usually like, okay... colorful look today... i think im going (insert color here) today! Then i go off that. its not planned but its like do i want a brown look, yes? okay then light or dark... etc. :)

It depends for me... I go from being optimistic before putting my makeup on, and halfway through I contemplate taking it off because it looks terrible to me. Then usually I just power through until the end and if I don't think it's too bad, I just go with it. Haha I say I usually start out with low expectations but hope for the best, unless I'm trying to go for a special look as opposed to winging it (which is the norm.)

Most of the time yes. But there are times thats a no lol. It takes a lot of practice to achieve looks fast with no mistakes. Practice makes perfect.

Not always but little by little I try to venture out into something different

The more I experiment and play around with my brushes I've noticed more and more positive results. Sometimes though no matter how hard I try I'm not successful and then I gotta bring out the big guns...reviewing YouTube videos of you lovely ladies and cornering my favorite Sephora rep for solutions.

Usually I get inspired by something on youtube, then I might google a colour, plan it in my head and go for it. Usually it turns out a lot better than I hoped but if I see something going wrong I try to fix it there and then and manipulate it so that even if the whole look didn't go to plan it still looks okay :)
