"Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary." - Steve Jobs at the 2005 Stanford Commencement Address
I know this is a beauty-focused site, but Steve Jobs had an amazing aesthetic and if you were a child of the early 80s like me, you literally grew up alongside Apple's evolution. Did you know he is the reason we have beautiful fonts and spacing on our computers?
The level of creativity and innovation show throughout his reign as CEO of Apple is unbelievable and I think he's a wonderful example of following your dreams no matter what societal norms, tradition, or anyone else tells you.
You can read the CNN post on his life/death here: http://www.cnn.com/2011/10/05/us/obit-steve-jobs/

You were a very smart man and a true fighter.. My aunt also has pancreatic cancer and she goes threw chemo all the time trying to slow down its growth and perhaps shrink the cancer.. The doctors gave my Aunt a year to live... Steve Jobs also didn't have good new when he was told how long he had but he surpassed it.. He kept fighting and he lived longer than anyone thought he would... I know that he is an inspiration to me and I know his fight and living with the disease and not having the disease run him makes my Aunt hopeful.. You were a good man Steve Jobs may you rest in peace and now be pain free

It is always sad to see someone go, but I was really heartbroken about Steve Jobs. He really has impacted every single one of us whether we know it or not. There are not many people these days that dream big and actually follow those dreams, but he did and we should all feel grateful! He is a very inspirational human being that was lost too soon.
RIP Steve
XOXO
