I love this post! :) I will do this when I get a chance. I have pictures of me without makeup...but to do the half makeup thing I need to wait till my skin clears up. Not because I don't want to show it...but because I am staying away from face makeup while I try out a new skincare system. For now I will post a picture without makeup from a while back :)

I finally remembered to pull out my camera and do half of my face! I love this thread so much and it's such a great way for everyone to embrace their beauty. It's such a great idea and I love how all of you are being so positive and supportive of each other. It just proves that a beauty community can be warm and kind-hearted.

Because I work in makeup and skin care anytime I give a person advice on what products to use they always get defensive like I'm trying to sell them something. I once has a client tell me "I'm not going to take advice from a 20 something year old with perfect flawless skin." I was like "Look lady, I don't care what you do with your face, you were the one complaining about it and furthermore I am 30 something with acne scarring, large pores, dark eye circles in the inner corner and hypopigmentation thank you very much!"

Acne, hyperpigmentation, large pores, it doesn't matter... I still feel good about Me. I'm turning 30 in a few months and I've actually never felt more comfortable with my looks! The makeup is fun and I love to transform myself, but I'm not ashamed of my bare face either : )

Wow, this is awesome. My opinion of my face is pretty poor and I find myself saying to my fiance "sorry I'm a mess but I didn't have time for makeup" and he tells me not to be so silly because I'm beautiful without it. I see that beauty in all you ladies and need to see it in myself more. Thanks for this post, it's a great idea :) I'll try to get a picture up too.

Here it is, the lighting in my bathroom is terrible, sorry. I was excited to do this but as I took the pictures I started feeling really bad so this was kind of a struggle for me. I was bullied throughout school for being "ugly" so I haven't seen a picture of myself without makeup for years. This topic is really inspiring though and I'm happy to have contributed :)

I loved this thread so much that I ran and washed all my makeup off and reapplied it to half my face :) I am 19 and this is pretty much my normal "everyday" look. I try to do a natural (usually I don't wear eyeliner) look and just enhance my natural coloring. I am totally ok with going out without makeup but I usually like to at least put mascara on my eyelashes because they're blonde and invisible. I break out occasionally and my complexion's a tad rosy but I absolutely love my freckles and do my best to never cover them up!

@Amanda, before reading what you said, I was looking at both sides of your face & was like "I can't tell which side has no makeup?!?!" Your eyelids are so glowy & your lashes are so pretty! I seriously thought you had on makeup! :D
