it really helps to let the glue get tacky before you stick them on!

first you'll wanna hold them up to your eye and make sure that they'll fit comfortably. sometimes if the lashes are too long for your eye, they can pop off. so see if you need to trim them first.. after that put a thin layer of glue along the band, and let it dry for about 15 seconds, then I like to place them down in the middle first and get that to stick, then move the corners around to the shape of my lashline. play around with it a bit- you can always take them off and reapply them. :] hope that helped a little.

I know how you feel Raeven, I've worn them once and they were fine but since then I just can't do it! I tend not to bother trying now cos I don't wanna ruin my eye look by making a mess with eyelash glue everywhere! :)

Keep trying. I couldn't get it at first either. The best tip I ever got was to put the glue on the back of my hand first and then apply it to the base of the lashes by dragging them through (hold the lashes with tweezers to do this easily). Then set the lashes carefully on your lash line and have patience. It takes a while for the glue to set enough to hold them in place. You can maneuver them into place with the tweezers, it's a lot easier than using a finger, just be careful not to poke yourself in the eye! Once they're in place just let the glue dry... staying still long enough for that is what I still have issues with!

Thanks Angela (nice name by the way hehe;)) I think I need to get a load of cheap ones to practice with. I've not tried putting the glue on the back of my hand so will give that a go! :)

like colleen said, make sure to trim them a bit to fit your eyes comfortably. lash strips are usually made longer so you have the power to trimming them to fit your eye shape. then what i like to do is to use either a toothpick, or the back of the tweezer and dip that in the lash glue. this way you have a very clean and easy way to control wear the glue is going. put a nice layer of glue onto the lashes and let them dry a bit. just enough that it's tacky/sticky. i like to use tweezers to help me apply my lashes on. the tweezers are small and thin enough to really help you adjust the lashes to the correct spot on your eyes. hope this helps out a bit :)
