I just was browsing through some pictures here as always and I notice a pic of Vlava R.

It's just amazing, I believe she is using the pencil technique. Or she is using small precise brushes. I like to use that technique as well sometimes.

The first time I saw the pencil technique was by a YT'er who now has the Beautyartstudio channel. She had another channel but they hacked it, her name is Nireyna.

The dramatic makeup she does are amazing and so precise, very clean lines. The more wearable looks are just as precise.

I've noticed that most of the russian guru's I follow/ am subscribed to use the same technique of using flat brushes to apply and blend beautifully the makeup. Also i've seem some of the Italian guru's also getting into that too.

Summary:
I love Russian (just to give it a name) makeup. They are so precise and are a masterpiece. And don't forget about the hair, their braiding is gorgeous. they turn ordinary dutch braids into a masterpiece.
I wish MAC and Inglot would do a ad/illustration with such looks.

What are you thoughts??

Anyway, sorry for the long long story. Have a nice day or night. :)

One more thing, using a pencil or base is great for us who uses inexpensive makeup like LA Colors, Jordana, ELF etc.

I'm also heavily interested in Eastern European makeup. The detail is beautiful. it's a technique I'd like to study. I grew up in Russia and I think studying it would be a good way to reconnect with my home.

@Nickie yeah I guess I get a little overboard when I like something. Google is my best friend hahaha.

@Mary You grew up in Russia that's cool. The good thing is that there is quite a few tutorials that shows how it's done, it's about showing your artistic side. The main thing is getting a great pencil to work with. I will be looking forward to see your creations.

OMG I haven't seen many tutorials of this kind, would you mind sharing some gurus you follow please.
I only follow one her link is this one check her out and again thanx for making life easyier and sharing your thought...
I really don't know where I would be without the teachings of you, here on BL :D

Have a nice day :)

Thank you so much, they are really inspiring, and just makes my head to think that I need a long way to go to be as good.
BUt patience and practice will make perfect, BTW do you know what kind of pencil is used?

Certainly yes, practice makes perfect. She doesn't say what brand it is, but according to an old subbie, the pencil is by LaCordi a German brand, which can only be found in Europe. And according to her, it's comparable to MAC smolder. Hope that helps.
One more think, from what I've tried, the less oily the skin the better. So use quite some powder to the area. :)

got it and thanx, I tried to make it with NYX eyepencil, but is too creamy and smudges everywhere, and the pencil she uses is more dryed or somethng like that and gives the perfect thing to work with, thanx for posting this Luv ya <3
