I recently moved to a big city and my skin had been playing havoc since I got here! My skin has always been a touch dry but now the skin on my nose is seriously oily, so much so that my makeup only last for an hour or two then slides off. Having always had dry skin im so not used to this and have no idea what to do with! lol. Any advice is appreciated! :)

Thanks Elyne, Im using a creme to powder at the mo, its fine for the rest of my skin, just not the nose. I always use a primer but Im open to any suggestions on what you think would be good.

Cream to powders usually have wax which isn't the best for oily skin. When my skin was oily I found that either Revlon Colorstay, MAC Studio Fix Fluid or Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse lasted the longest on my skin, whichever one you can find a good colour match with.

Have you tried deslick setting spray by urban decay? It works pretty well on my forehead (that is where I get the oiliest). Also, blotting sheets are fantastic. You can also try a mattifying powder on the nose. I think Urban Decay also makes deslick in that format and MAC makes one as well. On the cheaper side I have always appreciated Dream Matte Powder from Maybelline, it definitely does the trick. =)

I have the same issue. I just make sure to use a primer, and any foundation you choose, make sure it's oil free. When you get that on, use a powder to set it, but use it a little on your nose. Hope that helps!! :)
