Hey beauties!

I don't know how many of you have problems or have dealt with stubborn dark spots, but after recently having an explosive breakout leaving me with tons of little spots on my face I began using Ambi lightening cream. It's been about a week that I have been using it consistently, and I have noticed a TREMENDOUS improvement in the tone and texture of my skin. I literally have now only 1-2 stubborn dark spots and the rest of my complexion is completely clear of all blemishes!

Previously I turned to higher-end and more expensive brands that took wayyy longer to do the job. I just wanted to hear everyone's thoughts/experiences with Ambi, or other products that have sincerely worked in clearing your complexions of blemishes.

Oh my god, I completely forgot about that product!! I was planning on using it! My body genetically forms Keloid scars & wanted to use that on my body.

I'm afraid of it being too oily though bc I also want to use it on my face - is it friendly to oily skin?

Andrea, I have super oily skin! lol. Not even kidding, and I live in the Kansas so in the warmer months it gets really humid and makes it a thousand times worse. With this product I didn't notice any excess oil that wouldn't have been there otherwise.

I believe they actually have different formulations for oily, normal, dry and sensitive skin, but I picked up the one for normal skin and it worked fine with my sensitive/oily skin. I just apply it over my regular moisturizer, or if I'm lazy I use it as my moisturizer. I usually use Origin's Modern Fusion serum and it works the best out of others, but Ambi gets the job done sooooo much faster. Plus its like a quarter of the cost.

P.S. a friend of mine actually has keloid scarring as well, and he has been using dermatix(sp?) and says that it has improved the appearance of the scars a lot.

I would love to try that. :) Lemon, honey, olive oil, and sugar mixed together used as a scub or mask worked well for me! <3 Drinking a lot of water also is great for skin renewal :)

I love at home products that do the trick. But also, if doesn't break your bank, it is also a good idea to get treatments like micro dermabrasion for scarring/discoloration related to acne breakouts. My cheeks are prone to terrible cyst like acne during that time of the month. It is only a few spots that seem to remain darken. So about 3 months ago, I started getting an micro dermabrasion treatment every 3 weeks, along with a light therapy LED treatment. My skin has drastically improved. I am getting married in a week and now I won't have to feel self conscious about the discoloration because it is barely visible.

Topical treatments help tremendously but also non-invasive treatments like the MD and LED rejuvenate the skin's natural abilities to heal and promote cellular repair!

Thanks Cameron! I actually don't even know how to look for scar fading creams, so that's a good way to start. I hope it works because I'm really considering whether I want to buy it. ($40 is kind of steep) but ANYTHING to get the discoloration out of my keloid scaring is worth ANY dollar!

Also, I'm definitely giving Ambi a try. Thank you. You're so helpful when it comes to skin care. :D
