So if you follow me, or have watched any of my videos, you'll know that Revlon Extra Life No Chip Top Coat is my all time fave. It's super shiny, way tough, and holds up to its claims.
My only issue with it is that if I'm doing nail art, since the brush is on the smaller side, it can tend to make my work streak and mess up my colouring. I had a bad incident today with this and had to restart, so I think I might have to break up with this top coat... for nail art at least.
So do you ladies and gents know of any top coat that's super strong with a thicker brush? I feel like that would really help my nail art. Thanks in advance for your input! (:

I love China Glaze Fast Forward Top Coat it's glossy and it doesn't leave streaks for me. It dries quickly and it's protective formula top coat that , at least for me, extends the time my nail color or design lasts. My friends and I love this top coat, I've re-bought this top coat after every time I finish it. Every time I've tried to cheat on it with other top coats I regret it, I really like this top coat.
Good luck on finding your new top coat :)

i use seche vite if i work my butt off on a nail design. sometimes my nails get mistake for acrylics when i use it since it's so thick, but it keeps my design! if not, i use china glaze's fast foward like binks. plus it's totally affordable, especially if you have a sally's card!

Another vote here for Seche Vite (right now you can get it free at Ulta if you buy two China Glaze polishes). I have never used the Revlon one you mentioned so I can't compare the two brushes. But I absolutely love the performance of Seche Vite.

You know, I've never tried Seche Vite, oddly enough. I don't have an ulta anywhere near me, but I'll be searching!
@Maria omg if you haven't tried it, you need to. The shine factor will drive you crazy.

Dylan...though I love my Seche Vite, I am going to pick your top coat up this weekend..."shine factor" just sold me. :-) (by the way, the specials they have at Ulta are available on line too...but shopping on line can be dangerous, any time I shop on line I over spend. lol)

@Maria let me know how you like it! Lol yeah I can't afford to even be browsing online, I have a serious problem with spending more money than I should! I'm sure I can find seche vite somewhere else.
@Terra yesss see? Terra gets my love for Revlon! :D
I don't think I've ever seen seche vite in my drug stores... I'm gonna google around and see what I can find.
Anyone live in Canada that knows where to find it? :D

I used to HATE doing my nails until I discovered Seche Vite. Previous to this, I thought I was TERRIBLE at giving myself manicures, because I would always bang into something and the paint would never dry! [I like opaque, so I tend to layer it on thick to get it over with]
I would ALWAYS wake up with stupid sheet marks pressed into my nails when I woke up and it became tiresome trying. Enter Seche Vite: It dried to a HIGH GLOSS finish almost instantaneously, and I had rock hard nails that could hold up to anything! I'll never stray... Seche Vite fo' life fo' me. =)

see gretal, i've tried sally hansen's insta-dri & i'm not sure if it's the polish i was using with it (a few of the insta-dri colors) or the top coat, but i found myself literally peeling my nailpolish off...like all of the layers would just stick together & easily peel off. or it could have been the base coat i was using, i never took that into consideration.

@terra. the true test is it standing up to me doing dishes at work. seche vite doesn't even hold up! :O (but, i do only close once in a blue moon so i hardly have to break down stuff!)

@Ashley I guess it's peer pressure, but it's good peer pressure because this top coat is astounding lol! I do 2 coats and my nails will stay for a week solid with little to no chipping. Also I've never tried the insta-dri, but maybe you put on too thick a coat? I find with some top coats if I put on a really thick coat it doesn't stay on nearly as long as one or two thin coats.
@Terra omg I had no idea you were in Irene's path, but that is an amazing testament to this top coat =D
@Chevalier OPI is what I used before Revlon, and it doesn't hold a candle to it. Like, don't even bother lighting the candle, it's a waste of wax.
