I know that NYX is on hautelook (http://www.hautelook.com/invite/740939 - affiliate link), but if you don't like what you see there is currently a promo code for 30% off your purchase on the NYX site and if you put $50 or more in your cart before applying the discount you get free shipping. I just tried this and blogged about it and thought I'd share, since often when I shop for makeup on sample sale sites I don't like half of the things in the sets and wish I could pick individual items. The Hautelook NYX sale isn't that great. It's good but not great. I miss the days of the really discounted prices. Seems like since Nordstrom bought out Hautelook the prices have been okay but not great.

@Yasmin Honestly, I think the prices got a little eh before that. When I first joined over 3 years ago it was NUTS. Then last Christmas I was kind of disenchanted and it's only gotten less exciting to me. I miss the days of the CRAZY sample sale sites. So many of my favs shut down :(

Yes, I used to love Hautelook back in the day! I've did multiple purchases back then, but recently not so much. And lately, their NYX sales, it seems they mark up the prices... then discount them that way. Example... Crown Brushes. Hautelook's price is the same price on the Crown Brush website... and I swear some prices on the Crown website is cheaper than Hautelook.

I agree with you ladies. Bring back the fabulous sales with REAL DISCOUNTS! I've noticed that many of the companies on hautelook offer similar prices on their sites. Boo :( At least holiday sales are coming!
