I dont know if anyone does this but I like to dip my brush in contact solution and then dip the brush in whatever color eyeshadow you use . It tends to give you a more defined color and lasts longer on your lids. It makes the eyeshadow texture creamy and easier to glide on the lids

yea i heard ppl do that before...I have never tried it because I don't wear contacts so I don't buy solution, but I heard it's good :)

Great tip! Thanks :) Is it better to use a cream shadow/flat brush for this technique?

you can use pretty much anything but i tend to use just powder eyeshadow to make it creamy. as for brushes i like the mac 239 brush but since your mixing diff colors you can use any brush so that youdnt ruin your good brushes

Wow.. never tried this before. So this doesn't affect the eyeshadows themselves right? I know a lot of eye shadows in pans tend to form a crust over the top if you get them wet.

This is basically "foiling" your eyeshadows: http://www.ehow.com/how_4808439_eye-shadow-pigments-dramatic-effect.html

Jessenia - don't oversaturate your brush if you're dipping it into eyeshadow pans... I did this when I first tried foiling, and for some weird reason, that section that got saturated doesn't give off as much product as it used to...
