So I've recenlty developed incredibly oily skin. It's only been like this for the last 3-4 months, around my 26th birthday. I've always had a moderately oily t-zone but lately it's every inch of my face and is so bad that even after washing, toning, and moisturizing my face, using a primer and foundation plus a setting powder (Same regimen I have used for ages) in about an hour I will bleed through my makeup and have to wash it off. It's gotten so bad that even when I am not wearing anything I have enough oil being produced that it gets in my eyes and stings like crazy. Can anyone give me recommendations on how to help control my crazy oily skin?

I'd recommend talking to your doctor since such a sudden change can indicate a potential health problem. Hopefully it's not this but rather simply a change in hormones due to being older. Skin tends to change, sometimes dramatically, after certain milestones - mine changed drastically when I was 29 and for the worse.
I would suggest getting a clay mask, you can pick clay mask products at places like Sally's, and try that once a week - no more than that - to see if it help. Give yourself a facial with a warm steam bath, use a facial brush or a brand new soft toothbrush in the oily areas and with a facial cleanser for oily skin try gently exfoliating your skin. Again, once a week not more. After washing your face use the mask allowing it to completely dry then remove it with a warm wash cloth. Follow that by using cool water (not ice cold) to close the pores and finally with a toner. Skip the moisturizer for a few weeks and see if that helps as well. Good luck!

I have oily skin and have trouble controlling it too! My absolute favorites for oil control are Clinique's Pore Minimizer and Urban Decay's Deslick setting spray. They work wonders! Sometimes I use the setting spray both under and over my make up. And it comes in a gel tube formula, to use as a sort of primer. MAC's blot powder is nice for touch ups throughout the day.
I also noticed a difference in my oil production after I started using my Clarisonic. My skin is less oily now. I know it's pricey but I would buy another one in a heartbeat!
I hope that helps!

I agree with Yasmin; You should probably go see a doctor/dermatologist. In the meantime, I would recommend changing your products to ones specifically designed for oily skin. However, make sure to use something gentle- if you make you're skin too dry, it will produce even more oil to make up for the imbalance.
I had luck with Proactiv for a while, but that might be too harsh for your current skin situation. Philosophy makes good, gentle products you could try. Their oil-controlling primer (Never Let Them See You Shine) has worked really well for me, too. As for powder, I think Benefit's Get Even works well for oily skin- I use the medium (02) color. Hope it's getting better!
