I usually either just pin my bangs back and let it down, side braid it to get it out of the way, or I put it in a side ponytail. I know what you mean about having your hair a certain way for the gym. I'm less about appearance but I know how you feel about it looking the same. I try to do multiple updos that keep my hair out of my face and still look pretty decent.

I like to french or dutch braid my bangs on the side so it isn't in my way when I'm working out, like running on the treadmill. Then I pull all my hair back into a bun, twisting and securing it so it doesn't flop out! :) Really cute and effective!

i love the fishtail braid- the only thing is it takes me a little long to do it- but it does look pretty! but a high bun or a french braid would be lovely also!

high ponytail or if your hair is long enough, a high bun.
For the bun, tie up your hair in a ponytail (as high as you can get it). Take individual strips of hair and tease each piece then wrap it around and bobby pin it in place :)
