Oh I love my daughter's school's SLR camera much better than my digital camera. I redid all of the pics I've taken the last couple of weeks but haven't uploaded because of how crappy (blurry) my pictures are. Time for a new camera I think. lol We took these outside so you could see what the colors looked like under natural light. Photos have not been color corrected or adjusted other than in dimension size.

I love my Elf beauty book I had no idea it was that close to the urban decay naked palette, maybe thats why I like it so much!

What a great comparison, if I see this I may try it out to see how it fares on darker skin.

Well, now. That's valuable information! Gosh, I was set on purchasing Urban Decay Naked Palette today but they were sold out. Pretty fantastic to hear about possibly saving some good money!
I'm just iffy about the quality of ELF vs the Urban Decay? Pigmentation-smudge/blend - overall application! & wear throughout the day.
Funny thing is, I'm still going to end up buying Urban Decay Naked palette for $52 because I live in Canada and we don't get ELF cosmetics :*(

The lighter colors in the ELF palette are a pain - too light - and you need to build it up to get the color pay off like in the Naked palette. The darker shades are fantastic and well pigmented. Goes on nicely, blends okay but if I had to choose quality over price then it's UD hands down. Price point then it's ELF. If you can't get UD get the ELF palette, it's $5 and if you can find it at Target you might be able to pick it up for less since it's been clearanced out.

they look SO much a like, but i think the UD palette is definitely more pigmented... they ALWAYS have naked palettes in stock at Ulta!! dont lose hope on finding them! haha, the only thing i dont like is now they come with a brush rather then the double sided pencil.. but Ulta definitely would have them!

UD is slightly better quality, but considering how nice the ELF shadows really are for only 5 dollars (I think thats the price of their palettes), I'd say thats a bargain! I would try out both, because you never know, really. I have the smokey eye edition elf palette (the newer one), and theres a blue is there that is an nearly perfect dupe for deep truth. And the matte black in there is AMAZING. So I bet this palette is definitely worth checking out.

Is the new Elf beauty book natural the same as the beauty book neutral one? I cant find this one, but I can find the natural one

The one I mentioned was a limited edition palette. I no longer buy ELF beauty books simply because it's too much of a miss for me (plus I have six others that I simply don't use).
Are you referring to this one? http://www.eyeslipsface.com/elf/sets-and-palettes/palettes/holiday_beauty_eye_books If so the colors in that do no look like NAKED or NAKED2.
