I need a new hair straightener BAD!
I was looking to buy a GHD, but looks like on their website they don't ship to the United States :( and I also checked Folica.com but it's $185 on their website opposed to $129 on GHD's. Anybody know another legit website that sells them?
I am open to other hair straightener recommendations :) Not CHI though, I've had two and they both broke!
Thanks!

Amazon.com - I just purchased mine a few days ago, and I bought the Midnight set direct from Amazon.com for $160. It's a little bit more expensive than the other resellers, but I can trust it more.
I feel you on the CHI though... mine really dries out my hair when it straightens, and I produce static like crazy! [I should really stop dragging my feet when I walk...] LOL!

It's hard when websites don't ship to the U.S. or Hawaii =|
You also have to watch out because certain brand's warranty, Croc for example, are voided if you buy from an unauthorized online dealer. The only official online dealer for Croc's flat iron is Folica. If it's purchased on other sites such as Amazon, Overstock, etc. the warranty is voided. Even if some sites say it comes with a warranty, example www.misikko.com sells Croc's and it comes with a "two year warranty", but on www.turboion.com it clearly states, they will not honor it, unless it's bought from Folica or an authorize on-site dealer.

Sephora sells the ghd, same price as listed on the ghd website ($185). I can't testify to its quality, though, because I've never used it.
I've never had much issue with Conair's straighteners (I'm currently using one from their Infiniti line), and they're much less expensive. :)

GHD straighteners are AMAZING. My partner bought me one for my birthday a couple of years ago. It's just as good as when I first got it :)
