Hey girlies,
So I have monolids and it seems that within a half an hour or a little more of wearing my makeup it has already smudged and creased. I've tried UDPP and Too Faced Shadow Insurance, neither have worked for me. Is it because there is no crease, but a tight fold where it can smudge easily? Any tips or tricks? xoxo

Is it your eye liner smudging or your eyeshadow? If it is your eyeliner, set it with a black eyeshadow to seal it in and dry it out. If it is your eyeshadow, avoid using cream based products unless they're meant for long wear. Try MUFE's aqua cream colors, or Benefit's creaseless cream shadows. Then go over those w/ a similar color. Sometimes, it may not be your eyeshadow base VS. the products you're actually using that can affect it. It could be the brand of eyeshadows you're using, your moisturizer - or something you can't control all together - the weather. =(
Hope that helps!

I have monolids too and the trick is to blend your liner or shadow a little farther out than you normally would--that way your makeup looks intentionally smoky, not like it's smudged. For liquid liner, I love the new Physician's Formula Eye Booster 2+1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner + Serum. It's the only formula that I've been able to ever use (and I've tried all the Asian liquid liners too, including 24-hour tattoo, which I bought in Tokyo). I just draw a super thin line across my lash line and it stays in place without any smudging!

I have monolids as well! When you say makeup, are you referring to both eyeliner and eyeshadow?
I use black gel liner for my eyes, on top of my usual lid primer (Maybelline, L'Oreal are my faves), and they have never smudged. Perhaps you could try switching to gel formulas if you haven't already?
