So im new here, and i looked a couple pages back but i have yet to see a lush discussion. i have seen a couple skin care related items so i see no harm in talking about this company as a whole, because they have some awesome products! i will admit their products are quite a bit more expencive than something you would find in a drugstore however im willing to pay for quality. lush is 100 percent vegetarian and cruelty free, 74 percent vegan, 65 percent preservative-free and 60 percent free of wasteful packaging! i for one think this is wonderful and wish more company's would strive to be so productive for the world! so, long story short, have you tried any products from lush? if so, tell me about your experience!! i would love to know!

I LOVE Lush!! I have used many of their products and I love most of them (though a couple smelt a little funny!) and I haven't found a problem with him! I need to save some money though, as you said, they are expensive!
Whats your favourite Lush product?

I actually don't like most of lush's products or any of their skin care. I find their products lack the ingredients that are proven by extensive research to be good for skin whether it is for preventing acne or for preventing free radical damage. In order for skin care to be state-of-the-art it must have stable packaging to keep antioxidants from decomposing (this would need to be an opaque and air-tight bottle or tube which would probably be plastic), a good amount of antioxidants to prevent free radical damage, cell-communicating ingredients to tell the cells how to behave in a healthy manner, and skin-identical ingredients to replenish skin that is not producing enough of whatever it is lacking. Lush's skin care lacks all of this and tends to include ingredients that irritate the skin which can cause aging and acne. That being said, their bath products smell amazing!!! I want to eat all the gorgeous bars in that store! The only reason I can't buy them is because they include sodium lauryl sulfate, which is too drying for my skin. Also I'm missing some hardware in my tub that prevents me from taking baths.

I'm a huge LUSH fan, and I think it's mainly because of of their scents. I really like their soaps and massage bars, and have recently tried out their cleansers (Herbalism and Angels on Bare Skin). Both are pretty decent so far. A lot of people rave about their Sugar Lip Scrubs, and I can't agree more. Yummiest stuff ever!

oh my gosh, I LOVE my bubblegum lip scrub! Its heaven for my lips and yummy too!! I found Herbalism's smell a turn off though, smelt funny to me! I did love the smell of Celestial, smelt like vanilla cupcakes!

@Katie Herbalism smelt terrible to me the first time round, but after a while I got used to it...lol. It's great for oily skin though. :D

@Vivian I think I will give the Cleansers a miss anyways, as I found that they didn't work as well as my current drugstore one! But can you recommend other products from them good for oily skin? I am only recently a Lush convert!

@Kitty - I've recently purchased their tea tree water, which is good to refresh oily skin. So far so good. The smell isn't overpowering, and I spritz it lightly over my face when I start to feel oily.

@Vivian Ooooo that sounds good. I've currently run out of toner, do they have a Tea Tree toner too do you know? Or could the tea tree water be used as one?

Lush = ♥ for me. I mainly gravitate towards the bath bombs, soaps, and massage bars, but I want to try everything else though. I have so many bath bombs in my bathroom it's ridiculous.

@Kitty - The tea tree water is a toner. Give it a go! :)

I can't say I'm all that impressed with their skin are but I loved their bathbombs until I found a kit on costal scents.com and its waaaaay better that buying LUSH! The bomb molds are smaller but the recipe I use lasts so much longer! If you love bathbombs you DEFINITELY NEED to check out the kit to make your own to perfection!!!
