Is it bad to use Pure acetone to remove nailpolish on a regular basis? I prefer acetone because it cleans better and removes polish faster.... what do you all think?

I don't like using it consistently because it tends to be a bit more harsh. It dries out my nails and makes them brittle if I use it too often. If it works for you, though... why not? It does take polish off so much more quickly.

Yeah its harsh, but im wondering if a really goos hand moisturizer would be okay. I put alot of coats of nailpolish on so the acetone takes it off alot quicker than non acetone

It's worst to keep dark polish on ur nail for more than 10 days than using pure acetone,, I prefer acetone than non acetone! It remove polish 10 time better and quicker! I don't think it's too harsh as long as u use 1 week( in nail salon, they use 100% pure acetone too) try to use cuticle oil, it help dry skin around nail.

Thanks Romee, thats what I had intended to do because the Acetone works so much better and you are right thats what they use in nail salons... Im currently using pure vitamin E oil on my cuticles and it works wonders!
