I really love Ole Henriksen's New beginning Scrub. I have sensitive and combination skin. It exfoliates well and gives me that fresh feeling, without feeling super abrasive on my face. I'd definitely suggest trying it out :)

I use Lush - Dark Angels twice a week for my oily skin and it is recommended once a week for normal skin.
It is brilliant but you'll find a lot of people will complain about it being too harsh - but they just aren't using it right!
you wet your face, mush the product up with quite a bit of water then gently apply. you don't need to scrub like most people do! your face feels like you've just had a facial!

I have normal to combination skin too, I use Philosophy Micro Delivery Exfoliating Wash for everyday and Lush Dark Angels twice a week! Love both of them! I tried St Ives, it made my skin break out so I use it as body scrub ^^

for my face I've tried so many things, but the on product i swear by is Epidermal Re-Texturizing Micro-Dermabrasion from Kiehls. It works wonders but costs a pretty penny. So worth it though and a little goes a long way. My face feels brand new every time i use it. As for my body, I actually use used coffee grinds mixed with honey and scrub it all over my body in the shower. The coffee grinds really help rub off all the dead skin and the honey as well as the oils that come from the coffee seriously moisturize. My husband was super amazed at how soft my skin felt and he even asked if i could make him a mix so he could try it himself.

Clinique 7 Day Scrub Cream Rinse-Off Formula. I noticed that my skin is softer and it is very gentle for everyday use.

Have you tried Scrub your nose in it from Soap&Glory? It's very effective, in a week i declogged my T-zone and my pores are so much better!
It has Super Fruit Acids, Diatomaceous Earth and Montmorillite Clay. You can use it as a scrub or as a mask. And in my case at least, this leaves me with a face fresh, clean and doesn't dehydrate. :)

I take one ascorbic acid tablet (uncoated) add in two-three drops of water to make a paste (it will sort of melt the uncoated ascorbic acid) then I use that to scrub my face and leave it on to dry, then I rinse with warm water. my face feels smooth and bright after. I guess it's because not only does the scrub slough away dead skin, but it also infuses vitamin C in it. so i get that great glow after :)

I've just posted a review on the BOOTS No7 Micro-Dermabrasion. It's pocket-friendly and doesn't aggravate irritated skin.

Alternatively you can try the aspirin mask, provided you're not allergic to it of course. Use it with honey.

I've tried a few, none of them have given me breakouts, and I do have acne prone skin.
I have used the aspirin mask, where I would take about 3-4 aspirins with no coating (can get it at the dollar store) and add a pea sized amount of face wash, whatever you prefer. scrub for about 45 seconds to a minute, not too rough. this one.. I used about twice a week.
a finer scrub you can use about 3 or 4 times a week is the sugar/salt scrub. you use sugar(dry skin/sensitive)/salt(oily) and add olive oil. this is a tad bit more harsh but it did the job.
This next one you can use like everyday.. baking soda! I pour some baking soda into my hand, and add lemon juice, because it brightens the skin. this is gentle enough to use just about every day.. at least for me. but if you noticed it making your skin raw or breakng out (over exfoliating can do that) I would only do it just a few times a week.
