I used proactiv, Clinique, skin ID, clean and clear, and various spot treatments- none of them really cleared any of it. It basically remained the same or for worse (depending on the brand). Its cleared up for me now but my chin and bottom cheek/ jawline tends to break out a bit. I found that the Vichy acne line worked the best for me. It's quite pricey since you pay between 20-30 each for the wash, toner, moisturizer and foundation to help cover it at the time- that is all I used. it didn't dry my skin out. I found this to be worth it- but remember depending on the area where it is- it could be hormonal, also diet and health has an impact. Hope you find something that works though!

I used to have the worst acne ever. I tried clinique and proactive but they never worked :( Then I starting using Noxzema triple clean anti blemish pads and DHC salicylic acne toner and DHC salicylic face milk. I have clear skin now with no scars and I rarely get zits :) Try hydrogen peroxide too, it dries up break outs like crazy.
