So I haven't really dabbled in applying eyeshadow wet yet but I am interested in your techniques! Should you wet the brush then dip in they eyeshadow? Will that not wreck the eyeshadow? Lets here it!

If its a matte shadow it probably will ruin it! It gets crusty and bad. If you want to, pick up the shadow from the edges of the pan, rather than in the middle so you don't ruin the whole product. Most shimmery shades or pigments wont do this though. & Using just water is fine when doing this. You don't gotta buy a fancy shmancy product to wet your brush.

I use plain water and the edge of the shadow. I just make sure the brush isn't too wet by dabbing it on paper towel or towel then I always use the upper left corner of the pan so I don't ruin the rest of the shadow. Some shadows respond differently to being wetted.

The advantage to purchasing mac fix plus setting spray would be that it does work with most eyeshadow shimmer or matte and doesn't ruin your eyeshadow to my knowledge and with much experience using it I would recommend using it: ) hope this helps!
