Ok bueaties,I have recently started a project pan project, for those who done know what it is its a simple project on using bueaty products up and avoid buying more and more until you have used so many items, I'm curious to know if any one else has done or is doing one? Thoughts? how many "items" are you stopping at?
Is it hard?
Whats your biggest struggle?

Hey! I just started a project 10 pan a couple weeks ago. This is my first time so I decided to try a smaller number. If all goes well I might try and do a 20 pan in the near future :) It's actually kinda fun because I'm dicovering a lot of products that I havn't used in a while so it just nice to rediscover without spending a ton of money.
So far so good, but I'm always convincing myself that I absolutely need something when I really dont...so then its a struggle to convince myself to not buy it lol

I will be starting a Project 5 pan in February. I have never done this before so I'm starting small. I will be picking 5 items I love so hopefully that will make a little easier.
I think my biggest problem will be finding something else to do when I'm bored because when I'm bored I go makeup shopping.
I will be using this time to play around with makeup I haven't touched in a while. If this goes well I will try a 10 pan later on in the year.
Good luck to you.

I started project 10 pan January 1st, kind of as my new years resolution. It has been really hard for me- especially with all the collections MAC has let out! I made sure to pick products that I won't use up quickly, so I can't by anything soon. But I've already saved a bunch of money! Normally I would spend over $100 on makeup a week. And my desire to buy more unnecessary makeup has gone done! Thank goodness lol.

I started a project 5 pan on Jan 1. I selected 5 makeup, skin/body,& hair items. I have so much stuff at home that I don't need to shop. When I finish an item, I can then shop my stash. I also bought a kaboodle train case to put my regular makeup items in. That has made things easier because I can see what I have to work with. Before I would just keep things in my large makeup bag and dump it in the sink every morning. I plan to do this until Easter. As I see things I like, I add them to my wishlist.

Mine is more "unique" than everyone else's project pan, ha! So that page just explains it all.

Hi, Naomi!
I know, it's so hard to hit pan, let alone finish certain products... Personally, I work for a cosmetic company that gives their employees a LOT of free product to try, and it's SO hard to finish up products because of that. But that, in my opinion, doesn't justify letting them just accumulate in my drawers.
Recently, I've been trying to finish up my MAC "Ricepaper" eyeshadow, my MUFE "Duo Mat" powder, my Tarte "Multipleye Lash Enhancer," Benefit's They're Real! Mascara, MAC's "Fabby" lipstick (I'm soo close! But I love it so much I'll probably buy another one), MAC's "Nymphette" lip gloss... I think that's it. We'll see how it goes :) I don't have a set number of products I'm trying to go through, I just look for products that I think will be the easiest to go through. Baby steps... :)
