How do you refresh a gel liner (i.e. MAC fluidline) that is getting dry? can it be salvaged?

I believe EnKore has a video on it. Have you tried keeping it upside down? I believe adding some Fix+ to the top and placing it upside down should restore it. Hope this helps!

You can add a few drops of Visine into your gel liner to bring it back to life!

stay away from Loreal HIP Liner it drys up and cant be saved waste of money! Physicians formula liners are WAY better!
My MAC PP & Gel liners from mac normally hold up but if i notice any drying i add either visine or Fix + (or any dupe to fix +) and close the jar, let it sit on its side and use it the next day it always works for me.
If i notice i am using my liner or pp over and over i will spray in the cap and close the jar so nothing starts to dry up!
Hope this helps!

A few drops of glycerin! You can get a huge thing of glycerin for cheap at any kind of drug store/super market and it is totally versatile when it comes to makeup. Enkore has a video on it, I do believe.. and I think petrilude might? But if you search glycerin and makeup on google or youtube you can get loads of ideas :)

I have the loreal hip liners and they are a pain to bring back...I have found that one way if you have time is to seal the containers, put them in a ziplovk bag and then submerge the bag in hot water. Let it sit for about 5 mins and it will soften back up. My loreal lines went back to being dry after this but my cousins physicians formula was good. I aso found that a lighter helps. I got this tip from gossmakeupartist on YouTube, where u quickly run the tip of a cheap eyeliner through a lighter to slightly melt it so it glides on bright and smooth. If you do this very lightly over the top of the gel liner it melts the top so you can apply it easily
