Thankfully we're all beautiful in different ways! So I have a question, maybe you can help? It seems like on Beautylish & YouTube, a lot of the beauty tutorial videos are by lovely women who are brunette or have darker complexions. I learn loads from these videos. But I have quite fair skin, blue eyes & blonde hair. Many of the tutorials I've tried to replicate (by brunette vloggers) have come out WAY too dark/strong for my face. I go from zero to raccoon in no time flat. And color hue is another predicament - some colors make brown and black eyes POP but I look like a weirdo!
I did just found Fleur De Force, which is really helpful. I was wondering if you can recommend any other beauty video bloggers with similar complexions to mine? In particular, I'd love to find a smokey-eye tutorial that won't make me look like I got knocked out by a boxer LOL
Thanks a bunch!

Have you taken a look at my tutorials yet? I have blonde hair and hazel eyes and I'm fair skinned. Perhaps I have something you can benefit from?

You beauties are so rad - thanks! Tamara - very sweet of you to take the time to give me a list. Guess I'll be parked in front of youtube for a while now :P
I actually just stumbled on Amarixe & am watching some of her vids right now. She's a brunette but has blue eyes & fair skin - I like her stuff so far.
Again - BIG THANKS! As much as I love makeup, I've always played it really safe with & usually just do natural looks. So joining Beautylish was pushing myself to try new styles & learn more! All of these tutorials will be SO helpful :)

You're welcome. As much as I can appreciate makeup on anyone, it can be nice (especially when you're expanding your makeup horizons) to see how it looks on someone who shares similar features.
Enjoy the videos and good luck with your new styles! :]
