What is the BEST Eyeliner, and what is the easiest way to apply to your waterline? HELP?

Hey Beauty Lovers...
I have a question, I see alot of you have mastered this, someone please help me out...... Can you girls (and guys) please tell me what is the best Eyeliner is, and give me some tips on how to apply it to my waterline without poking myself in the eye? I've come close, but can't quite get it.... Thanks! :)

I personally love to use Gel liners ---- maybelline blackest black gel liner, it comes with a nifty little brush, and its easier to apply on the waterline because it wont clog eyes! :]
All I do is dip it in the little jar and tug on my waterline, applying it kind of close to my bottom lashes :]

I've fallen for Prestige's Total Intensity eye liners. Seems like they're very similar to Urban Decay's 24/7 eye pencils. They glide on very easily.

To apply to your waterline, pull down on it a little bit, and use short strokes close to the lower lashline.

Kinda late into this convo- but my absolute favorite eyeliners of all time are the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Pencils. They definitely trump every other pencil liner out there (in my opinion), including the MUFE eyeliners. Super pigmented and go on super smoothly, and come in soooo many gorgeous colors! To ensure they don't smudge or fade, I always set them with an eyeshadow. But when I want a clear, crisp eyeliner line, I always use my MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack.
And like Shelly, to apply to your waterline, pull it away from your eye and carefully apply the pencil (or gel or whatever) to it, and do it nice and softly because you don't want to cause an injury! :o) Hope this helped!

The Benefit bad gal waterproof eyeliner is amazing. it stays put all day, ALL DAY.
on trick i do is that after applying my eyeliner, i carefully pat a black eyeshadow on top of it in my waterline. after that I put some eyeshadow on my lower lid ( i usually use the same shadow i applied on my upper lid or in my crease). if am not wearing any shadows, some face powder under my eyes will do the trick too.
hope it makes sense :D

for applying it, just pull down lightley your lower lashline & apply liner carefully, then wink a couple of times to make the liner transfer to your upper lashline as well.
Note: Urban decay 24/7 glide on r good too :)

I usually use the mac gel liner for my waterline. But I know the revlon colorstay eyeliner is great!
