My friend came to me asking for suggestions on a good under-eye concealer for her dark circles. I've never had any under-eye issues that I couldn't cover with foundation, so I'm a little lost here.
What do you think is the best under-eye concealer?

it depends on her skin complexion, and how dark her circles are. If she's battling super dark circles, you'll want a more full coverage concealer to even out her skin tone. If she's willing to shell out a bit, I'd go with Eve Pearl Concealer, it runs about 35 dollars but it's brilliant for hard to cover dark circles. it's a gel consistency, which is great for under eyes, and it has a fair amount of pigment. It blends out very seamlessly.
If she's looking for a drug store bargain, I'd recommend Cover Girl's Perfect Complexion. It's a liquid, decently pigmented, and wears well all day without cracking or fading. It's only 8-10 dollars at most places, and a little dab goes a long way!
Hope that helps!

I think her skintone is about NC20, normal to combination. I'm not sure how dark her circles are, but she's willing to spend up to $25-30.
Thanks for the input! :)

I like the Makeup Forever's Full Cover concealer. It's $30 but it covers anything. If the circles are more purple, try a yellow tinted concealer first. If they're more blue, try an orange concealer. Then cover with her skin tone if necessary. Hope that helps!

Try any concealer, really, but with an eye brightening pencil that's in a light pinky frosty shade.... should work... I think benefit has those pencils...or any brightener-concealer that is kinda frosty pinkish coz I think there are some that don't come in pencils...

She's the same skintone as me then.
This is what I use for my dark circles: http://www.etsy.com/listing/59871892/mineral-makeup-concealing-powder
(and I have ankylosing spondylitis & fibromyalgia - both chronic pain and fatigue disorders - so i don't go a day without having to cover up dark eye circles!)

I Have The Same Issue.
From What I Heard, The Mac Concealer Is One Not To Use For Under Eye.
Since Its Best Used For Blemishes Since Its Thick.
I Also Heard That The Kat Von D Tattoo Concealer Is Really Good.
I Was Planning On Purchasing It Next Time I Go To Sephora ^_^

What about the Bobbi Brown correctors? I've heard they're pretty good for under the eyes, yeah?

Aside from recommending a brand, I suggest a salmon colored concealer. These are supposed to be the best for concealing dark under-eye circles. Bobbi Brown has one that has been raved about. If your budget doesn't allow for high-end, Sonia Kashuk has a 4-color concealer palette with a salmon-ish shade.

I have the sonia kashuk hidden agenda concealer palette that i love <3 I have under eye circles but they aren't super bad. I use the salmon colored concealer in the palette to cover my circles, and then I put the shade that is a little lighter then my complexion to brighten the area a bit. I also use the powder inside the palette to set it :) Hope this helps! It works well when you do all of that, and then add another layer if needed. For the best results I use a concealer brush, and the sigma SS224 brush for the powder to set it.
