I just posted about papaya.
There are tomato soaps, mother of pearl soaps to use as well.
Apple cider makes a great astringent.
You can use mint, lavender, chamomile teas in numerous ways - put it in a steam bath, use "used" (COLD) tea bags on your eyes. Pour the tea onto a cleansing cloth to help clean your skin.
Honey & sugar or honey & salt make great body exfoliates.
Use olive oil or vitamin e oil on your skin after a bath.
There's just so many things out there. Basically if it's a fruit or veggie you can use it in a beauty routine.

I agree with Apple Cider Vinegar but not too often...perhaps once a week. It lightens acne scars as well.
This isn't for face but for hair: egg white and honey hair mask for super-soft hair :)

Sugar + water = lip exfoliant (or even as a face exfoliant, I believe)

For hair:
Olive oil mayo. You can buy olive oil mayo in the store or make your own by blending ½ cup olive oil with 1 whole egg. Blend until the mixture is thick and white. Add to your washed hair, cover with plastic and let sit up to 15 minutes then rinse with warm water.
For face: Water + sea salt also makes a great exfoliant. There are so many types of sea salts out there. Most high end grocery stores that have olive bars and cheese bars will have a sea salt bar. My favorite sea salt is black lava salt from Hawaii because it dissolves so well. Love this red one but I can't think where it's from. It's blood red and it too dissolves so nicely.
