I just wanted to find out how everyone applies this powder foundation. I've heard a lot of people use the sponge that comes with it. How do you apply it for best results?

Hi Rachel - I use the MUFE Duo Mat foundation powder over my liquid foundation. I like med-full coverage. I press into the powder gently with E.L.F's flat top powder brush (listed below). All you need is a little bit of powder to set your foundation (if you do use a liquid foundation) or even over face primer. You can lightly buff it out to give you a nice clean and matte looking face! Goodluck!

That'd depend on what sort of coverage are you looking for?
A sponge will give you a much more opaque coverage than a brush, but generally, less product will give a more natural look.

I use MAC's 183 flat top kabuki brush... looking forward to trying it with Sigma's synthetic F-series brushes. I always set it with MUFE fix spray or MAC's fix+.

I use a large powder brush to apply a thin layer. I wasn't looking for full coverage just light/medium coverage. I didn't like the sponge it came with. For full coverage I applied the Duo Mat powder over the HD foundation. :)

I personally just use my fingers to apply most matte foundations, including this particular one. The heat from your fingers warms the foundation up, making it easier to blend. However, this technique gives a much more sheer coverage compared to using a brush. You can build up the coverage, but not by much.
