What's the best way to get a good picture of a swatch? I realized that no matter how much I try all my pictures are either blurry, too dark or too light. HELP! I've got a ton of makeup that I'd like to swatch and post especially since most of it is stuff most YT gurus overlook.

Put your camera on macro setting (up close setting) and try to take the pics with natural light. Flash will wash out the colors. The macro setting will allow you to get super close without being blurry.

But, check to see if yours has a "macro" setting (this basically turns a extra light on...it's hard to explain but it's how I take my pics). "Super Macro LED" is the best if your camera has one.
If not, try going to a photo editing website like Picnik. com. You can use that for free without even signing up (but I reccomend it) and they have a "sharpness" slider where you can make your picture sharper.
I used to have the same problem before I got a new camera.
