hey guys! my friends birthday is this saturday & she wanted me to do her makeup. shes make african american (darker tone) & ive never worked on her skin tone before. i have some ideas. & shes gonna wearing purple. any suggestions?

From my experience, brighter colors can really be great because they pop. If she's comfortable with vibrant eye looks, you could play around with some of your brighter colors and see what complements her eye and skin tone best. What about metallics? Is she a fan? Those could be fun and then not matchy-matchy with her dress or necessarily quite as bright if it's a night look.

omg. lol sorry i didnt make any sense with my topic. i was thinking smokey with a bright silver as base purple on top and black on the outer corner.
